The latest edition - Episode 12 - of Propermusic.com's new series of weekly podcasts, produced and hosted by award-winning broadcaster Trevor Dann, is available now for free streaming and download through iTunes and SoundCloud.

Chris Barber – called "the Great-Grandfather of British Rock" – talks to Trevor Dann about the 50s trad boom, why he took up the trombone, and what it was like performing  with Brownie McGhee, Mark Knopfler, Ottilie Patterson, Keith Emerson and Van Morrison among many others. The podcast features tracks from Chris's recent double CD – Memories Of My Trip (Proper Records).
