Among the attractions at this year's London Jazz Festival (13-22 November) are:
13 November: John Scofield's Piety Street Band (Queen Elizabeth Hall); the tango band Astillero from Buenos Aires (Purcell Room); Jazz Voice: Celebrating a Century of Song with Guy Barker and the London Jazz Festival Orchestra (Barbican).
14 November: Tomasz Stañko Quintet (with Alexi Tuomarila, Jakob Bro, Anders Christensen & Olavi Louhivuori) (QEH); Sonny Rollins (Barbican); Roberto Fonseca + Mayra Andrade (Royal Festival Hall).
15 November: Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke & Lenny White + Bela Fleck And The Flecktones (Fleck, Victor Wooten and Reggie Wooten) (Barbican, 3pm and 7.30pm).
16 November: Branford Marsalis + Robert Mitchell Trio (QEH).
17 November: Carla Bley and the Lost Chords (Andy Sheppard, Steve Swallow & Billy Drummond) + Julian Siegel Trio (Greg Cohen & Joey Baron) (QEH).
18 November: John Surman Celebrates 65 Years (with John Abercrombie, Drew Gress, Jack DeJohnette & Karin Krog) (QEH).
19 November: Cleveland Watkiss At 50 (QEH); The Blind Boys Of Alabama + Allen Toussaint (Barbican); Gilberto Gil (RFH); Bill Frisell with the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Mike Gibbs and Jayce Ogren and playing Copland, Ives and original work (Barbican).
20 November: Madeleine Peyroux (RFH); Alan Barnes tribute to Benny Goodman (Purcell Room); Overtone Quartet featuring Dave Holland, Chris Potter, Jason Moran and Eric Harland (QEH).
21 November: Mike Maran: A Funny Valentine, an evocation of Chet Baker with Colin Steele and Dave Milligan (Purcell Room); Tord Gustavsen Ensemble (Jarle Vespestad, Mats Eilertsen & Tore Brunborg) + Jason Yarde + Andrew McCormack (QEH); Cleo Laine + John Dankworth (RFH).
22 November: Marcus Miller: Tutu Revisited with Christian Scott and Gary Husband (Barbican).
