For me - it remains a mystery - but it could be any of 20 or more UK trad band leaders.

Tom Lord Online can't help - it offers three commercially recorded versions of Home Is Where The Heart Is, as follows:

1. Sylvia Syms - I think not.
2. Jeff Hall (vocal) with a mixed group, perhaps led by Ken Navarrao but no trumpet or trombone and with synthesised programmed drums.
3. Alexis Cole - presumably a lady - and a flute accompaniment plus a Fred Hersch-led rhythm section.
