Pat Metheny introduces his new "solo" project at the Barbican on 10 February. It's a live show but not as we know it, with Pat using robotics to control an array of acoustic instruments in what he calls a solo ensemble performance. Using his new Orchestrionics technology, he'll be performing versions of classics from his catalogue and compositions from his new "Orchestrion" CD on Nonesuch.
